another sleepless night
So lets see... what has been going on... a bunch of nothing. Everyone is doing really good, so there is no complaints there. The kids are loving school and all that goes along with it. Tori is considering dropping out of Marching Band, which will be her choice, all we asked is that she give it a try. I can't sleep, but that is nothing new. This weekend should prove to be fun, John and Mathew are coming in from California. Joe and Shelia are coming up from Tenn. We are having a big cookout at Martha's on Sunday. Those are always fun, I hope it doesn't rain. (Sunday is also my Birthday)
I love my family. There really is no family in the world that could hold a candle to mine. Even with the problems that we have, and the sometimes dysfunctional parts of it I wouldn't trade any one part of my family for someone else's. How many people can say they have someone around that will listen to them when they need? I know I can. But then again that is just how my family works. I know that someone will always be there when I need to cry on some one's shoulder, ask a question or just need someone that I can bitch to. Yes my family is loud, some what obnoxious and seriously patched together. But you know what, that is OK. As a unit we work, no matter how cracked, patched, and messy we are. I love you all!

It's been a couple days
It has been a couple days since I wrote anything. Lets see what has been going on. Saturday afternoon I went and watched Hailey play soccer and that night we all went to street night. Bones, Jared, Josh and Lauren went and they took the little girls. Everyone had a great time. Aces & 8s put on a great show, Jared me and the little girls danced all night long. The rest of the weekend was pretty uneventful. We haven't been doing a lot of stuff. It has been quiet, and peaceful around here. Kids are good, they are loving school. Just the same old same old right now.

Who am I?
I am who I am. If you don’t like that then I don’t know what to tell you.
I am a down to earth person and I tend to say whatever comes to mind.
I am what some people would call ‘Crass’ and what my niece Panda calls ‘A Pirate’. "Princesses don’t use bad words Nonni, only Pirates use bad words"- Panda (four years old)
I don’t often think about consequences until after the fact. I tend to ‘shoot first and ask questions later’.
I use the word ‘Fuck’ like most people use the word ‘The’.
I love my family and friends with all my heart.
I am more passive then aggressive but don’t let that fool you. I defend the things I love with a fierceness that is unmatched. "Graceful? Yes. Beautiful? Absolutely. Harmless? Definitely Not." - Fyndhorn Elder.
I will only sit back and take shit from people for so long, before I explode.
I will not tolerate the abuse or misuse of my children in any form, from anyone. You can run your mouth about me all damned day, but once you run it about or at my kids, you had better watch yourself.
Once I write someone out of my life, they have to give me an extremely good reason to get back in. Once your out your usually out forever, I don’t forgive and forget very often.
I believe that the word ‘Sorry’ does not fix all the wrong things you do. Some hurt is just too big to fix with an ‘I’m Sorry’.
Blood is ALWAYS thicker then water. "Trust only Family, Rely only on Blood" -Tony Soprano
My house isn’t perfect, but you know what, I don’t care. We live in our house, we have fun in it and that is really all that matters. Houses are not meant to be show pieces, they are meant to be lived in.
I say things sometimes that only my Daughter understands, and I can have an entire conversation with my Husband without saying a single word.
I drink more coffee and coca-cola than is probably good for the average human to consume in a day.
I smoke about a pack and a half of cigarettes a day. Something that I probably should stop doing and will eventually.
I get addicted to TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy, House, Dexter and True Blood. But I tend to lose interest in other things quickly.
I love playing Magic the Gathering and D&D.
I would rather read a good book then watch a good movie any time. Twilight is my latest obsession (and yes I am TEAM EDWARD).
I would rather do Laundry then do the dishes. Actually I would rather do anything then do dishes. Dishes have to be the absolute worst chore on the face of the earth.
I would rather play Star Wars on the Xbox with Porkchop then clean the house. (hey that almost rhymed)
I wear my jeans too low, my shirts too low, my hair up, and I do not wear makeup.
I hate wearing something that requires me to wear anything but my Flip Flops or my Sketchers in order for it to look good.
I hate liars, drama queens/king, pot-stirrers, jealous people, and ass holes.
All-in-all, if you don't like me for who I am then I don't need you in my life. I would rather be hated for being the person I am (the person that God made me) then loved for the person I am not. I will not conform to society's standard for what I should be.

Movie night
Last night we rented some movies and watched them with the kids. We saw, Race to Witch Mountain (which was really good), Coraline (it was good but a little to dark for IS) and Bolt (which was hilarious). We ate a ton of junk food, laughed and had a great time. I will write more later, right now I have to get IS ready to go to friend's birthday party. Have a great day all.

Today was our aniversary
We didn't do anything special, just hung out around the house. he had to work today and I got the house done and worked on my story for a bit. Kind of a boring day actually. Kids are loving school and seem to be having a good time. Bella is in marching band this year and she is excited about it. IS has a birthday party to go to on Saturday, and JD and I have decided to let him go alone. It will be the first time he has gone to an event like this without me going with him. I will keep you posted on how it all goes.

Good morning all!
I just thought that I would say good morning and maybe fill you all in on our family. We are southern transplants, that means we live here in Georgia but are originally from Rhode Island. We have been here for about 5 years now and love it. We miss the family members that we left back home but JD and I both agree that we would not move back there anytime soon. JD and I have been together for 12 years and we got married in August of 2005.
We have 2 great kids and they are my world. Our daughter 'Bella' is 14 and our son 'IS' is 8. Bella is your typical 14 year old girl. She started high school this year, and so far she loves the 9Th grade. She is a Trumpet player in the Marching band and is teaching herself how to play the Saxophone. Bella is also an honor roll student and an all around great kid. She loves to read and right now her favorite book series is Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I have also read all of the Twilight books and have to agree with her that they are the best. As for our son IS, he is your typical 8 year old boy. He loves monster trucks and video games. 2ND grade seems to be agreeing with him so far, but we will see. After all they have only been to school 3 days so far this year (the school year just started for them).
JD works for the city, he is a waste water tech and, I am a stay at home mom. During the summer I babysit a bunch of kids during the week. During the school year I usually only babysit every once in a while. It is usually my nieces, Panda, Nad, and Pitty. You will hear a lot about them I tend to write about them often. Panda and Nad are going to be big sisters in a couple of months. Their parents Josh and Lauren will welcome Josh Jr into the world in October.
Lets see what else could I add to this. Hmm. I think I just about have it covered. I haven't decided whether or not I will be the only one posting on here or not. I may let the kids post from time to time or when they feel like it. It may be fun to hear about what is going on in their lives from their perspective. But for now I am going to go. Let me know what you all think and as always have a blessed day!

Hello everyone.
I just wanted to say hello. This is my first post on here and hopefully I will be updating often. I am going to try and update every day or at least once a week. I will update tomorrow and fill you all in on our little family and as a few links to the various sites that we use on a regular basis. I am going to move my blog posts that I love from Myspace to here. Don't forget to check out my Tweets. Have a great night!
